Antonia Astori


Born in Melzo (Milan) in 1940, she studied Industrial and Visual Design at the Athenaeum in Losanna, obtaining her degree in 1966. In 1968 she began designing for Driade, also helping to define the company image by designing exhibitions and installations all over the world. Her work revolves around the design system�s formal potential, conceived as an “open work” that also allows the user to contribute to its final definition.
